The short answer: walls, frames, easels, shelves, and magnets all work, and none of them need special tools. Pick the method that fits the piece, and keep the beads out of direct sunlight so colors stay bright.
Bead art deserves better than a drawer. Most pieces are light, sturdy, and hangable within minutes of coming off the pegboard. Here are the five display methods we use most, from easiest to most polished.
Five display methods
- Push pins on the wall: two pins through the holes of a fully ironed piece and it stays put. Easiest option, works for any size.
- Magnet sheets: glue a magnet to the back and the piece joins the fridge, a magnetic board, or the side of a metal shelf.
- Tabletop stand: a small wire or plate easel holds small pieces upright on a desk or shelf.
- Floating frame: a shadow box or floating frame shows both sides of the beads and keeps dust off.
- String and clips: hang a line of string and attach pieces with mini clothespins for a changing gallery wall.
For bigger creations like 3D pieces, use a shelf instead of the wall. A low shelf with a few pieces and a small light reads like a museum display, and it is easy to rearrange.
Keep colors bright
