Filing a takedown notice
A valid notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature (or that of a person authorized to act for the owner);
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
- The URL(s) of the allegedly infringing material on our site;
- Your name, address, telephone number and email;
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
Counter-notification
If your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice with: your signature; identification of the removed material and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury of good-faith belief the removal was a mistake; and your name, address, phone number, plus consent to the jurisdiction of your local federal district court (or, outside the US, any judicial district where we may be found) and acceptance of service from the original complainant.
Repeat infringers
Accounts of repeat infringers are terminated in appropriate circumstances.
